Tour of All Points West Distillery (Newark, NJ)

Supplied by 35,000 acres of protected watershed in the foothills of the Appalachians, Newark had 26 opertational breweries in 1920. British, Scottish, Irish, and German immigrants used this water and techniques passed down through multiple generationsto create some of the best tasting beer in the world. Today, none of these breweries remain.  All Points West, inspired by these lost enterprises, has resurrected these traditions in Newark's Ironbound neighborhood. Its name derives from the colloquial reference to the old Jersey Central Railroad that connected the ports on the Atlantic to the rest of the continent. All Points West now offers three grain spirits: the Pot Still Whiskey, the Cathouse Gin, and the Bone Black Vodka.

Please join the Harvard Club of New Jersey for a tour and tasting of these locally produced spirits. Each ticket comes with a tour of the facilities led by founder, Gil Spaier, and two free cocktails. Additional purchases of cocktails, spirits, and souvenirs comes with a 10% discount. Manny Antunes (College '11) will be assisting behind the bar with constructing some unique libations of his own creation.
