For 105 years, the Far Hills Race Meeting has drawn fans, families, and first-timers to the rolling hills of Moorland Farm for a tradition unlike any other. It’s the premier steeplechase event in the U.S. (and one of NJ’s most iconic fall gatherings), blending world-class horse racing with food, fashion, shopping and shared moments that turn into lifelong memories.

The event has donated $22 million over the years to local healthcare organizations, including RWJ Barnabas Health, Crossroads 4 Hope: A Network of Cancer Support, Bonnie Brae, CIC for Prevention and Recovery, and LifeCamp. 

Sanctioned by the National Steeplechase Association and featuring some of the best horses and jockeys in the sport, the Far Hills Race Meeting boasts the largest purses in American steeplechasing, totaling over $800,000. It’s the crown jewel of American steeplechasing, and it’s only getting bigger.
