Christine Nelson is the Acting Regional Outreach Officer for the Northeast Regional Outreach Office of the USPTO. Christine started her career at the USPTO as a Patent Examiner in 2009 working in the mechanical arts, primarily in medical implants, and is currently an examiner in dental technology. Christine received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1988 and her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1991. Prior to her career with the USPTO, she was in private practice for 18 years in Westminster, Colorado focusing on family care and nutritional counseling. In her diverse career experience, she has also taught Human Anatomy and Biology and served as an expert witness in spinal trauma and biomechanics.
