On
the first weekend in October, an exciting, two hour walking tour of
Newark, NJ, with real estate professional and urban planner Antonia
Valla (GSD '08), will take place to explore and discuss the city's
developing downtown neighborhood. The tour will include visits to
Newark's newest development sites, local parks, shops and galleries,
while learning about its rich architectural past, present, and future.
Participants will also have the opportunity to stop at the local
businesses and purchase items of their choosing.
We will begin at 11:00 AM sharp, initially meeting at the main information booth at Newark, NJ Penn Station. This station is accessible by NJ Transit and AMTRAK from NYC Penn Station.
Space is
