This event is part of the HAA Global Month of Service; take part in a world-wide Harvard effort!
Take part in a world-wide Harvard effort! Join us in April for the Harvard Global Month of Service, when alumni from all over the world come together through the common act of providing service to others. The Global Month of Service will be held in April 2012 and will help commemorate Harvard’s 375th Anniversary. This is an opportunity for alumni not only to do good work in their communities, but also to connect through informal networking.
The Harvard Club of NJ invites alumni, friends and family for a day of service in NJ on Sunday, April 15th at New Jersey Audubon’s Scherman-Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary in Bernardsville, NJ. Under the direction of a teacher naturalist, we will plant shrubs and small trees native to NJ on a slope that is visible to all visitors to the center. Gardening skills are not required.
The amount of time it will take will be determined by the size of the group, but plan on 2-3 hours. The location is close to Route 287 and Route 78.
