Please join us for the Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey’s “seething history” of this devious king, “arch villain of all villains,” who lived from 1452-1485. In a fascinating historical update, the NYTimes reported the ceremonial reburial of this notorious monarch’s remains in 2015 at Leicester Cathedral, after archaeological evidence confirmed his previously unmarked grave under a nearby parking lot.
With so many interesting dimensions to the play, the talk-back immediately after the production will present a wonderful opportunity to hear cast members discuss their roles and interpretations of the play as they respond to questions from the audience.
Please also join us afterwards for a lively post-theater dinner at the nearby award winning restaurant Shanghai Jazz, www.shanghaijazz.com where owner Martha Chang, KSG’88, GSAS ‘93 will prepare a sumptuous Chinese banquet for our group. Dinner will be served to the accompaniment of live jazz.
Theater tickets are at a discounted rate of $50/person for members and $55 for non-members. Please reserve by Oct. 7th as ticket availability is limited.
