A Day’s Labor with Habitat for Humanity

June 13, 2015

The volunteers must be at least 16 years old for this particular project.

Want to make a dream come true and help a family build a house with the prospect of a better life? The HCNJ is hoping to provide a team of 15-20 to join forces with the Habitat for Humanity organization in their effort to create safe and affordable housing for those in need of shelter in our area. Morris Habitat for Humanity, an affiliate of the parent organization, coordinates all aspects of this type of housing in Morris County, New Jersey.

We will supply our volunteer building crew at the site. The normal work schedule is 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a break at noon for lunch. No experience is required, and all needed instructions and safety training will be provided by the Morris Habitat for Humanity staff.
